Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 sliced apples
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • to taste cinnamon and nutmeg
  • 3 packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined, then press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, add sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; cook until softened and caramelized (5-7 minutes).
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth, then add eggs one at a time and mix until creamy.
  • Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust, add the apple filling, then top with the remaining cheesecake mixture and smooth out.
  • Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and cold butter to create a crumbly topping, and sprinkle it over the cheesecake layer.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 50-60 minutes, then cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
