- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 400 g apple sauce
- 200 g whipping cream
- 2 packs cream stiffener
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- 200 g sour cream
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (optional)
Preheat your oven to 180°C (or 160°C fan-assisted) and prepare a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) lined with baking paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until pale and frothy, then add hot water gradually.
Combine flour, cornstarch, and baking powder in a separate bowl; fold into the egg mixture until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly; bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow the biscuit layer to cool completely before removing from the pan.
In a saucepan, bring two-thirds of the apple juice to a boil; mix remaining juice with sugar and pudding powder.
Stir the pudding mixture into boiling juice and simmer for 2 minutes; cool slightly and fold in apple sauce.
Whip the cream with cream stiffener until peaks form; fold in sour cream, vanilla sugar, and cocoa powder.
Spread the cream layer over the cooled biscuit base, then top with the apple filling.
Chill the cake for at least 4 hours before serving.
