  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 0.5 cups melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan generously so the bread doesn’t stick.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir well until everything comes together.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly incorporate these dry ingredients into the wet mix.
  • If using nuts or chocolate chips, fold them in now. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Slide it into the oven and bake for about 60 minutes.
