- 3 pieces eggs
- 2 pieces oranges (juice)
- 1 cup tea oil or any neutral-flavored oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups wheat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 pieces orange (juice) for the syrup
- 3 tbsp sugar for the syrup
Blend the eggs, orange juice, oil, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
Pour the blended mixture into a large mixing bowl and gradually add the wheat flour.
Stir gently to combine, then add the baking powder and mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased round baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 35 minutes.
While the cake is baking, prepare the syrup by boiling the orange juice and sugar until slightly thickened.
Once the cake is done, pour the warm syrup over the hot cake.
For added flavor, consider mixing in a dash of vanilla extract or some orange zest into the batter. Store leftover cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze individual slices for up to 2 months for longer storage.
