Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Heat the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour the dough into the pan and cook undisturbed for about 5 to 7 minutes per side, flipping carefully once the bottom turns golden brown.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, replace wheat flour with almond or coconut flour. Substitute whole milk with almond or oat milk if needed, and feel free to experiment with different cheeses like cheddar, mozzarella, or feta for variety.
