- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot water or milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 200 g dark chocolate
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl.
In another bowl, whisk together the sugars, yogurt, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently, then add the hot water or milk last.
Pour the batter into a greased and lined cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Heat the heavy cream until just simmering and pour over chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
Pour the ganache over the cooled cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
