- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 large egg
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
- 4 oz softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl; let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Add melted butter, egg, flour, and salt; mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
In a saucepan, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice; cook on medium heat until thickened (5-7 minutes).
