Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 cup sugar for topping
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp powdered milk optional, highly recommended

Instructions

  • Let the cut donuts rise on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the donuts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
  • Roll warm donuts in sugar.
  • Fill a piping bag with fresh cream and poke a hole in each donut to fill them with cream.
