Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Pastry brush
  • Small bowl for water
  • Air fryer
  • N/A

Ingredients

  • 8 wraps egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Lay one egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture onto the center, followed by another tablespoon of cherry pie filling.
  • Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom edge, sealing the top with a dab of water.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush each assembled roll with melted butter.
  • Place the rolls seam-side down in the basket, leaving space between each one for airflow. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Transfer the rolls to a plate and dust generously with powdered sugar. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.

Notes

Feel free to use spring roll wrappers if you can't find egg roll wrappers. You can replace cherry pie filling with other fruit fillings like blueberry or strawberry for variety. For a healthier version, use sugar-free pie filling and dairy-free substitutes in the filling. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days in the fridge. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness. Drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on top for an extra treat before serving!
