Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the sugar until combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.

  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.

  • Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Pour the ganache over the cooled brownie cake and spread it evenly.
  • Let the ganache set at room temperature or refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, swap the butter with coconut oil. Use gluten-free flour for dietary restrictions. Enhance chocolate flavor with espresso powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze individual slices for up to 3 months. Enjoy with whipped cream and fresh berries or a drizzle of caramel for added flair! Happy baking!
