- 3 Large onions (cut into thick slices)

 - 2 tablespoons Melted butter
 - 1 clove Chopped garlic
 - 2 Eggs (beaten)
 - 2 cups Breadcrumbs
 - 1 cup Wheat flour

 - for frying Frying oil

Slice large onions into thick rings and separate the layers.
Tuck a mozzarella stick into the center of each onion ring.
Set up three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Dip each onion ring in flour, then in the egg wash, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat frying oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry the coated hoops for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Mix melted butter with chopped garlic and brush onto the warm rings.
Serve hot with marinara or ranch sauce on the side.
Enjoy with various dipping sauces for added flavor!

For extra crispiness, chill the assembled rings in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before frying. You can replace mozzarella with cheddar or pepper jack cheese for a different flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days, but they are best enjoyed fresh. Reheat in the oven for optimal crispiness. Experiment with different dipping sauces like BBQ or honey mustard for added flavor! Enjoy!
