- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla, mixing well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until a smooth dough forms.
