Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the cookie dough into a large circular shape on the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow the cookie cake to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, frost with your favorite icing and add optional toppings.
