Ingredients

  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup pure maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt for a light and smooth mixture.
  • Mix walnuts, maple syrup, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mix. Stir until just combined, then fold in the walnuts.
  • Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
