- 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2.5 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 0.5 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans and line them with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
