- 1 large egg
- 1 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for sprinkling
- 1 1/3 cups sweetened shredded coconut loosely laid in measuring cup, not packed
- 10 oz sweetened condensed milk two-thirds of one 14-ounce can
- 4 to 5 oz salted caramel sauce homemade or store-bought
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted for drizzling
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
