Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups Flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp Active dry yeast
  • ½ cup Luke warm milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • q.s. Vegetable oil for frying to taste
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chopped fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp Strawberry jam
  • q.s. Powdered sugar for decoration to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  • Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg; knead until a soft, smooth dough forms.
  • Cover with a damp cloth; let it rest in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
  • Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
  • Cut out donuts using a donut cutter or round cookie cutter.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry donuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side; drain on paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in chopped strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam.
  • Fill each donut with strawberry cream using a piping bag or a small spoon.
  • Sprinkle the tops with powdered sugar for decoration; serve immediately.
