- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract preferably pure
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups buttercream frosting
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light yellow and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
